Position Title: Test Engineer III

Location: Remote

Anticipated Start Date: 8/01/2025

Expected Duration: 03+ Months with possibility of extension.

Job Type: Contract (>=40 HRS WEEKLY)

Pay Range: $80 - $90/HR

Job Summary

Overview

We are seeking a skilled C# Test Coverage Engineer to enhance the quality and reliability of our software by significantly increasing our automated test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new unit and integration tests to increase code coverage from the current level to 70%.


• Work primarily with a codebase written in C#, with additional components in C++ and Hack (PHP).


• Ensure all tests are healthy, reliable, and provide meaningful coverage of the codebase.


• Integrate tests into the continuous integration pipeline so that they automatically run on code changes (diffs).


• Collaborate with development teams to understand code functionality and identify critical areas for testing.


• Monitor and maintain test health, addressing flaky or failing tests promptly.


• Document testing strategies, coverage metrics, and progress towards coverage goals.

Qualifications

• Test engineer with 4+ years of experience and must have extensive experience writing tests in C# code bases.


• Must have extensive experience writing tests


• Strong programming skills in C#; experience with C++ and PHP/Hack is a plus.


• Proven experience in writing unit and integration tests in large codebases.


• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and continuous integration systems.


• Ability to analyze code coverage reports and identify gaps.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.


• Game development experience would be a plus

Must-Have Skills

1. Must have extensive experience writing tests


2. Must have C# experience

Nice-to-have Skills

1. C++ and PHP tests will also be required at times so good to have experience
