6-month contract-to-hire
$28 to $35 per hour contract with a conversion salary of $58K to $73K annually

Summary
We're seeking an IT Field Support professional to provide hands-on technical assistance across multiple locations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving hardware, software, network, and telephony issues, and can work independently to deliver exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to keep employees and systems running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine troubleshooting and maintenance on computers, monitors, peripherals, and related systems, both remotely and in person.
  • Assist end users with setup, installation, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and deployment of new equipment.
  • Provide technical support for Windows workstations, Office 365, Active Directory, VoIP, and basic network connectivity.
  • Support wireless devices and warehouse equipment, including laptops, handhelds, printers, and voice pick devices.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT devices and manage equipment orders and distribution.
  • Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure changes accurately and timely.
  • Process and prioritize work requests and escalations efficiently.
  • Travel to assigned locations on a rotating schedule (6-8 weeks) and work occasional weekends or non-standard hours as needed.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience (Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field preferred).
  • 4+ years of IT field support experience.
  • 1+ year experience in network security .
  • Active Directory administration knowledge.
  • Familiarity with SAP authorization, Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), TCP/IP network stack, and PCI preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to assigned locations and work non-standard hours when needed.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience supporting warehouse or operational technology environments.
  • Exposure to VoIP and wireless networking.
  • Experience managing IT inventory and equipment lifecycle.
  • Ability to train or mentor junior IT staff.
