Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native DevOps practices. You will be responsible for automating infrastructure, improving deployment processes, and ensuring high availability and scalability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using best practices.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or GitHub Actions.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance, availability, and scalability issues using tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.

  • Ensure system security through identity/access management, network security, and compliance best practices.

  • Work closely with development teams to support microservices, containers (e.g., Docker), and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/EKS.

  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.

  • Write documentation for infrastructure and DevOps processes.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.).

  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools Terraform preferred.

  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

  • Working knowledge of containerization (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).

  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, CloudWatch, Grafana).

  • Knowledge of serverless architectures.

  • Background in agile software development and DevOps culture.
