Job Title: Appian Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Appian Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and building BPM applications using the Appian platform and will contribute to the full software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement BPM-based solutions using Appian BPM Suite.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Translate business process requirements into functional Appian applications.
  • Develop and integrate workflows, user interfaces, business rules, and process models.
  • Build reusable components, templates, and frameworks to improve development efficiency.
  • Perform unit testing, support system integration, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Optimize and maintain existing Appian applications for performance and scalability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions delivered.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Appian applications.
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodology for project execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Appian development.
  • Strong knowledge of Appian BPM tools and features like SAIL, Process Modeler, Records, Reports, and Sites.
  • Experience with Appian Plug-ins, Smart Services, and Integration SDK.
  • Proficient in designing complex data types, interfaces, and process models.
  • Experience with Web services (SOAP/REST), APIs, and integration with external systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Appian Level 1 or Level 2 Certification (Preferred).
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or other web development technologies is a plus.
  • Prior experience working in sectors like finance, healthcare, or insurance is an advantage.
