Job Details
The Database Analyst is responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise databases to support reporting, forecasting, financial integrations, and project management tools like OnePlan and Project Online. This role involves close collaboration with finance teams, PMOs, and application support units to ensure data accuracy, report readiness, and performance tuning for tools and integrations. The analyst will also play a vital role in data migration, validation, and system transition efforts.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $91,600 - $123,700 year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, validate, and maintain data sets to support business reporting and decision-making.
- Create and manage datasets for dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Develop test scenarios and validate data accuracy for various business reports, including financial accounting, forecasting, and resource tracking.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including finance teams, to ensure alignment of reporting outputs with fiscal period structures, accounting principles, and financial close processes.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple enterprise systems.
- Optimize queries, data models, and refresh cycles to improve performance and data availability.
- Monitor performance of data pipelines and recommend enhancements for efficiency and scalability.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, finance partners, and application administrators.
- Provide ongoing support for enterprise tools and applications integrated with financial and operational data.
- Respond to service requests and troubleshoot issues related to data access, reporting, financial accounting outputs, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with other investment analysts to contribute to help develop analytical applications and analyze investment research related data. Should be able to confidently present solutions/proposals.
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Develops competence by performing structured documentation, automation, etc. #LI_DNI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (4-years) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years in database analysis, reporting, or data operations.
- Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and data modeling.
- Experience with project management tools (OnePlan, Project Online, JIRA).
- 2+ years of experience maintaining enterprise-scale database environments.
- Demonstrated, successful experience working in a matrixed, multi-vendor technology environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in urgent situations with high pressure and visibility.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Proven experience working with finance teams and enterprise-scale reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting financial planning and resource capacity reporting.
- Comfort working with SaaS integrations and API-based data connections.
- Understanding of time-tracking systems and their impact on financial rollups.
