Job Details

Overview

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

Optimize key privacy controls across the bank to preserve and improve privacy protections. Design and implement solutions to automate data discovery and classification. Establish and maintain an accurate inventory of personal data utilized across the bank's data catalog and establish increased automation for data analytics and management reporting. Oversee the discovery of personal data, classification of data, data mapping, data obfuscation and automation of data subject requests. Implement solutions from third parties including OneTrust and BigID into the banks privacy management platforms. Work closely with the bank's Data Governance team and application system owners to expand the completeness, accuracy, and automation to discover and classify data elements and verify a catalog of data with business owners. Implement and automate technical and process-related privacy controls. Conduct privacy impact assessments, perform testing, debug privacy platform solutions and document procedures for installation, operations, and maintenance.

Qualifications

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Business Data Analyst, Technology Lead, Technology Analyst, Software Engineer, Lead Privacy Engineer, or a related occupation.

Position requires understanding of data structures utilized across both structured and unstructured data repositories. Requires experience working in the data privacy domain, specifically in a regulated industry. Requires experience in data protection principles and data privacy practices. Requires experience in software engineering fundamentals. Requires experience in data literacy, including finding and managing data, cleansing data, and manipulating data. Requires knowledge of privacy rules and regulations like CCPA, GDPR, GLBA, etc. Requires development and implementation expertise in privacy capabilities like consent management, cookie consent honoring, data subject access rights automation etc. Requires experience with research and ability to advise on data privacy issues. Requires experience in Onetrust and Bigid software tools. Requires hands on experience in Java, REST API, Apigee, CICD, and technical architecture.
