Job Details

Epsilon C5I (, focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a Senior Computer Engineer II with a minimum of 10 years' experience for work in San Diego, CA. Our engineering efforts provide the warfighter with tools to support critical support to operational missions to improve targeting capabilities. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced technical support for the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of C4I systems and subsystems.
  • Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation plans.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on hardware and software components of C4I systems, including secure communications, tactical networks, and mission planning tools.
  • Evaluate system performance, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements or upgrades.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science; Depending on PWS tasking, must be willing to certify as Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) qualified within 6 months of employment
  • Ten or more (10+) years of notable experience supporting C4I and or Navy systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and professional demeanor.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Candidate must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.

Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.

Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).

Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, standing, and walking.

Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
