We are seeking a Matterport Web Analytics Manager to help accelerate Matterport's growth in North America. This role will report to the Senior Director of Marketing.

About the Role:

Matterport is seeking an intellectually curious, analytically minded, and self-motivated professional to elevate our digital marketing programs to new levels of insight, innovation, and performance.

The Web & Marketing Analytics Manager will be the go-to person within the marketing organization for data-driven insights that inform digital strategy and accelerate business growth. Acting as the resident expert in web analytics, tagging, and performance reporting, this individual will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of Matterport's analytics ecosystem across channels and platforms.

You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Paid Media, Web, SEO, Product, and eCommerce teams to translate data into actionable insights that drive measurable impact. The ideal candidate brings both a passion for digital performance and a deep understanding of marketing data infrastructure, attribution, and privacy-first analytics frameworks.

This position is located in Arlington, VA and in office Monday through Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of web analytics infrastructure (GA4, GTM, Looker/Tableau dashboards).
  • Partner with Paid Media, SEO, and Web teams to analyze acquisition, conversion, and engagement performance across all digital channels (search, display, social, programmatic, email, and website).
  • Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and recurring reports highlighting KPIs, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Manage tagging and event-tracking strategies through Google Tag Manager, ensuring accuracy in measurement and reporting.
  • Identify optimization opportunities in the funnel-improving conversion rates, attribution accuracy, and user journey performance.
  • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing in collaboration with digital and product teams to inform creative, messaging, and UX decisions.
  • Monitor data quality, governance, and privacy compliance across analytics platforms, ensuring adherence to first-party data strategy and evolving state privacy regulations.
  • Stay current on emerging industry trends including cookie deprecation, Google's Privacy Sandbox, and measurement best practices.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings in clear, concise, and compelling ways to marketing and executive stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital or web analytics (B2B SaaS or eCommerce preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing Google Analytics (GA4) or Adobe Analytics properties and configurations.
  • Deep experience with Google Tag Manager (creating/editing tags, triggers, variables).
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize large data sets into meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with SEM, paid social, SEO, programmatic, and content marketing performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of conversion tracking, attribution modeling, and marketing ROI analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills-able to convey analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives on collective success and continuous improvement.
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with SQL, BigQuery, or similar database tools.
  • Exposure to CDPs, marketing automation, and CRM integration (e.g., Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Knowledge of data privacy frameworks and regulatory environments (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with predictive analytics and machine learning concepts for marketing performance.
