About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior UX Designer to lead the design of user-centric digital experiences that drive engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in UX design, leadership, and strategy, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions for complex challenges. This role is based in Dallas, TX, and offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team on high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Design Leadership
    • Define and drive the overall user experience strategy aligned with business goals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to establish a shared vision for UX.
    • Advocate for user-centric design principles across the organization.
  2. Design Execution
    • Lead the end-to-end design process, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
    • Create high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
    • Ensure consistency in design through the application of design systems and guidelines.
  3. Research & Insights
    • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to understand user needs and pain points.
    • Translate insights into actionable design improvements.
    • Stay updated with emerging trends in UX design and technology.
  4. Team Leadership & Mentorship
    • Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
    • Provide constructive feedback to refine design outputs and elevate overall quality.
  5. Collaboration & Communication
    • Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, gathering feedback to iterate on solutions.
    • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

  • 14-15 years of experience in UX design, with a portfolio showcasing a track record of designing impactful digital products.
  • Proven experience leading UX projects for web and mobile platforms in industries such as technology, finance, or healthcare.

Skills:

  • Expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like InVision.
  • Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and design feasibility for developers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools.
