Position: Salesforce Scrum Master
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with experience working in a Salesforce environment.
Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce development and the Salesforce platform is beneficial.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic environment.
Job Description
Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Leading daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Remove Impediments: Identifying and resolving roadblocks that hinder team progress.
Coach and Mentor: Guiding team members on Agile and Scrum practices, fostering a collaborative environment, and helping them improve their skills.
Ensure Adherence to Agile Principles: Promoting the values and principles of Agile and Scrum within the team.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Encouraging the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance performance and efficiency.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Working with Product Owners, other teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Monitor and Report on Progress: Tracking sprint progress, identifying risks and issues, and communicating them to stakeholders.
Manage Expectations and Timelines: Ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met.
Maximize Use of Agile Tools: Utilizing tools like Jira, Confluence, or others to track progress and metrics.
Distinguishing Senior from Junior Scrum Masters:
While both roles involve facilitating Scrum and coaching teams, a Senior Scrum Master typically has more experience and may also:
Mentor and Coach Junior Scrum Masters: Provide guidance and support to other Scrum Masters within the organization.
Lead Organizational Change: Help embed Agile practices and culture across multiple teams.
Influence Team Structure and Processes: Contribute to the design and improvement of team structures and processes.
Manage Multiple Teams: May be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the work of several Scrum teams.
