Must Have's: - Telecom domain (3-5yrs max), Service Now TSM, ServiceNow, ServiceNow platform development, ITSM, Telecom Service Management (TSM), CMDB, Discovery, Order Management for Telecom (OMT), or Network Inventory, Agile/Scrum

Location: Remote/ Preference is for candidate to work remote from Dallas or Atlanta (travel to client office based out of Dallas/ Atlanta from time to time - will not go into office often)

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a motivated and skilled ServiceNow Developer with 2 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with or for telecom service providers and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that support enterprise processes, integrations, and data flows using the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and integrations.
  • Implement and manage ITSM, Telecom Service Management (TSM), CMDB, Discovery, and Service Catalog modules.
  • Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, flow designers, and other ServiceNow artifacts.
  • Support integration with legacy systems and external platforms via APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Participate in requirement gathering sessions, provide technical input, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Maintain platform performance, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Contribute to data migration, CMDB population, and inventory federation efforts.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3 5 years of experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of core ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog).
  • Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, and Flow Designer.
  • Familiarity with telecom service management use cases or experience working with a telecom provider.
  • Experience with system integrations using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); additional certifications like CIS-ITSM or CIS-TSM are a plus.
  • Exposure to Telecom Service Management (TSM), Order Management for Telecom (OMT), or Network Inventory.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow s ATF (Automated Test Framework) and DevOps tools.
