IT Testing Coordinator (Oracle Fusion Cloud)

Job Summary
The IT Testing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing all testing activities for implementations and enhancements within the Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules. The coordinator will work closely with functional business experts to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensure test environment readiness, and facilitate defect resolution. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), particularly within an Agile framework, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Strategy:
• Develop and implement test strategies, comprehensive test plans, and test schedules aligned with project timelines and business objectives.
• Collaborate with functional subject matter experts to define test objectives, scope, and acceptance criteria for Oracle AR and Financial modules.
• Test Design and Execution:
• Lead the design and development of detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data based on functional requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of testing, including functional, integration, user acceptance (UAT), and regression testing.
• Coordination and Scheduling:
• Liaise with functional teams to ensure the availability and readiness of business testers for scheduled test cycles.
• Manage the test schedule by allocating testing resources effectively to meet deadlines and project milestones.
• Environment Management:
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the test environment in Oracle Fusion Cloud is properly configured and maintained for testing activities.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues related to the test environment, including data setup and access.
• Defect and Reporting Management:
• Track and manage software defects from discovery to resolution, collaborating with development teams to ensure timely fixes.
• Monitor testing progress and report status, results, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain all test-related documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Testing Coordinator in an IT environment.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, specifically the Financials and Accounts Receivable (AR) modules.
• Experience with test planning, test design, and test execution for complex financial systems.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within an Agile or similar iterative development methodology.
