Your role in our mission

Essential Job Functions:
  • Establishes and documents a tailored strategy quality plan in collaboration with the project manager, for the performance of quality assurance activities for assigned projects or task.
  • Develops and oversees the maintenance of quality assurance documentation and tasks to include quality metrics.
  • Conducts assessments and evaluations through analysis and interpretation of objective and subjective evidence to verify compliance to standards and applicable quality plans.
  • Develops written reports of findings; escalates unresolved issues to appropriate management levels.
  • Research alternative solutions to problems, determines proper approaches, makes verbal and/or written recommendations to appropriate parties and implements solutions.
  • Coordinates implementation of approved recommendations. Gathers, uses and analyzes defect metrics data.
  • Presents analysis findings to the appropriate levels of management verbally and through the preparation of periodic written reports.
  • Participates in special projects, external audits and process improvements in support of quality assurance initiatives.
  • Coordinates the definition and maintenance of effective and efficient quality programs, including the development and presentation of associated training and familiarization to affected staff.
  • Revises standard practices and procedures as appropriate.
  • Provides leadership and work guidance. Acts in a lead capacity for assigned account(s), performing limited leadership functions including consolidating project and task statuses for a given period and reporting same to senior management, customers and development staff.


What we're looking for

  • Nine or more years of quality assurance, engineering or management information systems experience working with quality metrics and software industry metric data collection and analysis techniques
  • Experience working with quality assurance principles and practices and software development methodologies such as Catalyst Experience working with standard software development methodology assessments, such as SEI/CMM or ISO 9000
  • Experience working with project management methodology and in managing projects
  • Experience working with software test science and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills' with a focus on continuous improvement and t euse of automation, scripting, and innovative QA tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Good interpersonal presentation skills for interacting with project and task team members
  • Strong Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
  • Ability to handle activities on multiple projects and tasks within the same or different accounts
  • Ability to work independently with integrity, as well as collaboratively in team environments.


Other Job Functions

Embed Quality in SDLC:
  • Defines and enforces entry/exit criteria for each phase gate (Requirements, Design, Build, System Test, UAT, Release), ensures all required artifacts and walkthroughs have completed, and maintains audit-ready documentation for every gate.
  • Maintain QA Documentation:
  • Creates and updates all QA artifacts-phase-gate checklists, SOPs, walkthrough guides and the Quality Management Plan-to align processes with contract standards.

Attend Governance Meetings:
  • Participates in Change-Release, client scope-approval and other key forums to ensure quality requirements and sign-offs are captured.

Lead RCA & CAP Efforts:
  • Drives cross-incident root-cause analyses for data consistency and other high-impact issues; tracks corrective-action plans through to closure and trend reporting.

Deliver Actionable Quality Metrics:
  • Establishes measurable dashboards from QA data-tracking incident trends, resolution performance, quality gaps and gate compliance-to drive continuous improvement.

Collaborate & Train:
  • Works closely with Test, DevOps, PMO and client to align on change-management processes, deliver QA training and build rapport under tight deadlines.
  • Thrives Under Pressure:
  • Manages multiple release cadences and high-visibility deliverables within aggressive timelines, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

The pay range for this position is $78,800.00 - $112,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
