Overview:

  • As Product Configuration Analyst will work side-by-side with engineering and business teams that are leading innovation in this exciting new product category.
  • The Product Configuration Analyst will support product programs by managing component and BOM creation from early concept through obsolescence.
  • You will be able to define system configuration best practices. You are flexible, responsive, hands-on and able to manage competing demands.
  • Working in Siemens Teamcenter PLM:
  • Support Reality Labs product projects from pre-concept through obsolescence.
  • Create and release manufacturers, manufacturer and vendor parts, internal part numbers in the PLM system, Collect data, interpret drawings, specifications and other data sources.
  • Create, and release Bills of Material based on input from Engineering, Project Management and Manufacturing to support NPI and production product releases.
  • Initiate and manage ECOs, MCOs, Deviations and Stop Ships.
  • Communicate Engineering BOM requirements between Supply Chain and Production to facilitate material planning, order fulfillment and execution.
  • Manage and organize complex projects and priorities, solve problems that impact release progress and provide detailed information to cross functional teams.
  • End user support and problem resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of related experience in a high tech, fast paced, consumer electronics environment managing Engineering design/documentation releases.
  • Experience with Mechanical CAD and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with ANSI/EIA-649 or CMII.
