Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in New Haven, Connecticut. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of moderately complex technology projects to ensure they are completed within schedule and budget. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to coordinate the delivery and implementation of the Library's Services Platform (LSP) migration.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all aspects of a moderately complex technology project to ensure they are completed on-time and within budget
Have overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing and outside vendors, and contractual deliverables
Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project
Coordinate the delivery and implementation of the Library's Services Platform (LSP) migration, moving from Voyager, the library's current enterprise system, to Alma, the next generation library system
Assist in the creation and maintenance of a project plan
Be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the efforts of all stakeholders involved in the migration process
Establish and maintain multiple project management platforms and facilitate project communication for the library, vendor, and other parties
Estimate, project control, have structured project management methods, excellent communication skills, flexibility, and understanding of data migration, software build, and QA processes
Utilize skills in Atlassian Jira, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, About Time, AB Testing, Budget Processes, Deliverable, Design

Requirements

Proven experience in a Project Manager or Senior Consultant role
Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and other project management tools
Knowledge of Cloud Technologies and their application in business environments
Experience with CRM systems for customer relationship management
Ability to work with databases, understanding their structure and operation
Experience with EO/IR systems and their application in project management
Familiarity with 'About Time' software for time tracking and management
Knowledge of AB Testing techniques and their application in project optimization
Experience in Budget Processes management, including planning, tracking, and adjusting
Ability to define and manage Deliverables in a project context
Experience with Design principles and their application in project development.
