Job Details
Job Title: Integration Developer
Location: Everett, MA (Hybrid, 1-Day per Week)
Contract Type: 11-Month Contract (potential for extension
Highly Preferred Skills
- Experience with public benefits systems (early child care, education, health and human services).
- Experience working with government agencies (federal, state, or local).
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience advising on data strategy, integration best practices, and data governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience designing and building API integrations with third-party platforms (preferably in education or public benefits).
- Strong knowledge of:
- RESTful APIs
- Authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys)
- Versioning techniques
- API usage analysis
- Familiarity with education data standards (e.g., Ed-Fi).
- Ability to perform complex data mapping and translation between models.
- Understanding of secure API design and public service boundaries.
- Experience with:
- JSON, XML
- MDM, ETL, reporting, data storage
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in:
- C#, Java, Python, Node.js
- API protocols: REST, SOAP, GraphQL
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with code reviews, technical debt, and shared codebases.
- Ability to translate business and policy goals into scalable technical solutions.
