Job Details

Job Title: Integration Developer

Location: Everett, MA (Hybrid, 1-Day per Week)
Contract Type: 11-Month Contract (potential for extension

Highly Preferred Skills

  • Experience with public benefits systems (early child care, education, health and human services).
  • Experience working with government agencies (federal, state, or local).
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Experience advising on data strategy, integration best practices, and data governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience designing and building API integrations with third-party platforms (preferably in education or public benefits).
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • RESTful APIs
    • Authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys)
    • Versioning techniques
    • API usage analysis
  • Familiarity with education data standards (e.g., Ed-Fi).
  • Ability to perform complex data mapping and translation between models.
  • Understanding of secure API design and public service boundaries.
  • Experience with:
    • JSON, XML
    • MDM, ETL, reporting, data storage
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in:
    • C#, Java, Python, Node.js
    • API protocols: REST, SOAP, GraphQL
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with code reviews, technical debt, and shared codebases.
  • Ability to translate business and policy goals into scalable technical solutions.
