Job Title: Vendor Manager

Location : Remote

Role Overview:

The Vendor Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of Hadron s third-party service providers, technology vendors, and consulting partners. This role will report to the Director of PMO and ensure that vendors deliver services in alignment with contractual obligations, service level agreements (SLAs), operational standards, and the governance framework established by the Project Management Office (PMO). The Vendor Manager will collaborate closely with legal, compliance, operations, IT, underwriting, finance, and the PMO to drive vendor performance, ensure alignment with project delivery needs, manage risk, and maximize value.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Business analyst
    • Review Due Diligence requirements to be implemented in the TPRM tool
    • Follow up with TPRM vendor to ensure full implementation of the due diligence s workflow based on the level of risk
    • Train client users to the TPRM tool
  • Vendor Management and Governance
    • Own and manage the full vendor lifecycle: selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and offboarding, ensuring consistency across Hadron s US, UK, and EU entities.
    • Maintain a centralized vendor database, tracking contract terms, renewal dates, and performance metrics using PM tools, TPA tracking systems, and contract management platforms.
    • Develop and lead regular vendor reviews, scorecards, and business reviews to ensure optimal service delivery in alignment with PMO expectations and international governance standards.
    • Own and manage the full vendor lifecycle: selection, onboarding, performance monitoring, and offboarding.
    • Maintain a centralized vendor database, tracking contract terms, renewal dates, and performance metrics using PM tools, TPA tracking systems, and contract management platforms.
    • Develop and lead regular vendor reviews, scorecards, and business reviews to ensure optimal service delivery in alignment with PMO expectations.
  • Contract Negotiation and Compliance
    • Support contract negotiations in collaboration with Legal and Procurement for US, UK and Europe territories.
    • Review drafts of contractual agreements to ensure alignment with Hadron s operational requirements and international regulatory standards.
    • Ensure vendors meet all regulatory, data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
    • Monitor adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and escalate non-performance issues as needed.
  • Operational Support and Risk Management
    • Partner with business units to understand service needs and vendor dependencies.
    • Conduct vendor risk assessments and drive mitigation plans where needed.
    • Manage issues, escalations, and resolution processes with vendors.
  • Strategic Sourcing and Cost Optimization
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, service improvement, and innovation through vendor partnerships.
    • Collaborate with Finance to track vendor-related budgets, invoices, and payment approvals.
    • Provide your expertise and engage with external research companies to understand trends in the industry and create a point of view on competitive pricing, delivery locations, and emerging opportunities/risks.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, service improvement, and innovation through vendor partnerships.
    • Collaborate with Finance to track vendor-related budgets, invoices, and payment approvals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Insurance, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of vendor management experience, preferably in the insurance, financial services, or technology consulting sectors.
  • Strong understanding of vendor risk management, regulatory compliance, and contracting principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, project management, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with vendor management tools, contract management systems, the JIRA suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Experience managing vendors supporting underwriting, policy administration, billing, claims, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, or other relevant regulatory frameworks.
