Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Oracle-based applications and database components that support key business operations. The role requires hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and working with large-scale Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers using PL/SQL.
- Create and maintain database objects such as tables, views, indexes, and sequences.
- Write optimized SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.
- Collaborate with business analysts and application teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting of existing Oracle code and processes.
- Develop and support data migration and data integration solutions using Oracle tools.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with security and quality standards.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding best practices and documentation.
- Support application deployments and production releases as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Oracle database development.
- Strong hands-on experience in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle RDBMS (versions 11g, 12c, or higher).
- Experience with Oracle tools such as SQL Developer, Toad, Oracle Forms/Reports, or Oracle APEX.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and indexing strategies.
- Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git) and deployment automation.
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting for data processing tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, or Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working in industries like healthcare, banking, or retail.
- Exposure to ETL tools, data warehousing, or BI platforms (optional).

- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
