Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Manufacturing assembly and machining experience desired.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Safety and MP&L experience a plus.
- Knowledge of constraint management principles.
- Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook).
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Position Description:
- Review morning inventories for potential criticals.
- Check part status for all customers.
- Check parts owed to plants.
- Analyze and prepare any expedites needed for plants.
- Review all customers using the same part and prioritize shipments.
- Make shippers for early trucks and print Pick list at shipping office.
- Add shortage parts to Critical list.
- Coordinate with Scheduling the required die sets and changeover to protect customers.
- Review Rack Status and Daily Rack Inventory for shortages.
- Enter outbound shipments into OBL.
- Review car manifests in CMMS to find required racks.
- Check TSAA for overdue rail cars or inbound trucks.
- Review for critical shortages from plant startup.
- Additional duties as assigned.
