What You Will Do :
This Professional Associate Director position within our Defense & Security Segment will deliver on a range of mission-related activities on existing engagements and new pursuits. This person will bring depth of experience in the Department of the Navy's organizational structure, dynamics, challenges, and opportunities to the team. This role will involve a combination of engagement delivery business development, and new opportunity pursuit. This role will require a strong emphasis on leadership, collaboration, people development, public speaking, and delivery of quality to the clients that you will support.

Key Responsibilities may include:
  • Engaging with senior executives to analyze and understand business initiatives and establishing a strategy for growth in target Navy markets
  • Developing and growing a business portfolio supporting target Navy markets
  • Fostering and leverage external relationships to enhance brand awareness and generate demand for Guidehouse services across the Navy
  • Demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow as a consulting professional
  • Demonstrating commitment to collaboration with fellow Guidehouse leaders


What You Will Need :
  • An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • FIFTEEN (15) or more years' experience supporting the federal government either through direct employment or as a contractor/consultant
  • Experience engaging with senior leaders within federal government
  • Strong communications acumen in support of client engagement and briefing
  • Experience translating leadership priorities into strategies and actions
  • Knowledge of Defense and National Security industry missions and initiatives, most specifically within the Navy
  • Experience leading and growing teams of various sizes and skillsets
  • Strong track record of collaboration
