IT Support Technician

Intermediate Level | On-Site

Position Overview

The IT Support Technician supports end users by resolving hardware and software issues, providing training, and ensuring reliable operation of user-facing technology across multiple locations. This role involves building and rebuilding computers, managing user accounts and permissions, and assisting with day-to-day IT operations. Technicians collaborate closely with other IT teams and technology owners to address issues requiring specialized knowledge. Strong problem-solving skills, customer service, and teamwork are essential to ensure users can effectively access the tools and systems needed for their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end users.
  • Build, rebuild, and configure computers and related equipment.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on technology and system usage.
  • Manage user accounts, access rights, and permissions across systems and applications.
  • Support technology operations across two locations, including occasional on-site assistance.
  • Perform imaging, wiping, and deployment of devices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to assist with tasks requiring specialized expertise.
  • Document issues and resolutions using a ticketing system.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and maintain strong communication with users.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support organizational technology needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience Level

Intermediate - suitable for candidates with foundational IT support experience and strong customer service skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
