Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 7 10 years of proven expertise in managing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow platforms within the Life Sciences domain.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical administration and development skills, experience in regulated environments (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11), and the ability to align ITSM/ITIL processes with compliance and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules such as ITSM, GRC, CSM, SecOps, Portal, HRSD, and others.
Implement and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
Lead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID servers, and other integration tools.
Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, process owners, business analysts, and administrators.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues and provide ongoing support.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to building a strong ServiceNow practice.

Required Skills & Experience

7 10 years of ServiceNow development and administration experience.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow core modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, CMDB, Service Catalog) with 5 7 years of configuration and administration experience.
JavaScript (4 5 years): hands-on scripting for business rules, client scripts, and UI customization.
HTML & CSS (4+ years): building and customizing UI components and portals.
ServiceNow APIs (4 5 years): developing and managing integrations with external systems.
Integrations (REST/SOAP, LDAP, SSO, OAuth) (4 5 years): implementing and maintaining secure integrations.
Strong hands-on expertise in multiple ServiceNow modules: ITSM, GRC, CSM, SecOps, Portal, HRSD.
Familiarity with ServiceNow upgrade cycles and patch management (3 4 years of upgrade experience).
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS).
Experience in Service Portal development and customization.
Strong understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and enterprise service management concepts.
Experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Orchestration, and MID Servers.
Proven experience in ServiceNow upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization.

Preferred Certifications:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ITSM Implementation Specialist
Other module-specific certifications.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in an agile environment.

Domain Expertise

Prior experience (4 5 years) working in Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Devices environments.
Strong understanding of GxP validation processes and compliance frameworks (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, SOX, HIPAA).
Knowledge and practical application of ITIL best practices (4 5 years).

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Good to Have

Experience with ServiceNow AI/ML, Predictive Intelligence, and Virtual Agent.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and security frameworks.
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow
