Acquisitions Accountant - Hybrid Schedule

Genesis10 is seeking an Acquisitions Accountant. This is a 3+ month, contract role, with a manufacturing company, hybrid in Milwaukee, WI.

Compensation: $28.00 - 30.00 per hour, depending on skill and experience level.

Schedule: Onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 8-5 PM CST

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a complete and systematic set of financial transactions in the legacy systems of the acquisitions (i.e. Epicor, NetSuite, Workday)
• Consolidate and report results into reporting systems on a monthly basis
• Complete assigned account reconciliations in compliance with Corporate policies
• Investigate and resolve any reconciliations identified per internal policies and procedures
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
• Document processes and assist with ongoing updates to existing policies and procedures
• Provide support related to internal audit and external audit inquiries
• Assists with various continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years of accounting experience
• CPA certification or eligible for CPA exam
• Understanding of US GAAP, accounting transactions, balance sheet and income statement preparation, revenue recognition, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and journal entries
• Strong comfort level with personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and integrated ERP platforms
• Willingness to participate in a hybrid work team creating a work environment where all individuals can and want to do their best work
• Ability to network with others and communicate effectively
