Job Details
The Logistics Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the supply chain, including the storage, transportation, and distribution of goods. This role ensures that products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise the movement, storage, and distribution of goods

Plan and monitor inbound and outbound shipments

Coordinate with warehouse, transportation, and customer service teams

Optimize logistics procedures using IT systems and software

Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, DOT)

Track shipments and resolve delivery issues or delays

Maintain accurate inventory and logistics records

Train, schedule, and manage logistics personnel

Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments

Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field (preferred)

3–5 years of experience in logistics or transportation, with supervisory experience

Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems)

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Strong leadership and team coordination abilities

Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Certifications
-
APICS Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)

OSHA or DOT compliance training
-
Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement credentials
