DPP is seeking a Cloud Senior Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

- Onsite highly preferred, but open to remote
- W2 position; 6 months
- Candidates who are foreign nationals must have resided in the US for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years prior to assignment to the client s applicable government contract.
- Working within Agile teams, the Cloud Senior Analyst participates in daily stand-ups and use tools like Jira and Confluence to track progress, document user stories, and collaborate with developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
- They may also contribute to team presentations, where strong communication skills are essential for explaining technical concepts in a clear, business-oriented manner.
- While they typically work under the guidance of senior team members, they are expected to take ownership of tasks, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the delivery of scalable, cloud-based analytics solutions.
- They help define customer needs in a technical context, ensuring that the proposed cloud technical solutions meet the customer s objectives.
- Additionally, they may provide guidance in support of large cloud IT projects, contributing to both the technical execution and the broader success of the initiative.
- Agile Product Owner or Agile Business Analyst Experience
- Cloud hosted application experience

- Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
- Understanding DevOps practices and helps in managing cloud-based analytics pipelines and deployments.
- Experience with version control, automated testing, and deployment of workflows.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

- Strong Communication Skills: Candidates will often interact with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, including CMS leadership and external suppliers. They may be involved in team presentations, requirements gathering sessions, and user support, where clear, concise communication is essential for success.
- Adaptability & Flexibility: CMS programs and cloud environments evolve frequently, and CBIC must respond to policy changes, system updates, and new compliance requirements. Candidates should be comfortable learning new tools, adjusting to shifting priorities, and working across multiple systems or teams.
- Analytical Thinking & Attention to Detail: Departmental work involves interpreting complex policy and data requirements, often related to bidding, pricing, and supplier eligibility. Analysts must be able to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and propose solutions that align with CMS regulations and program goals.
- 6 years of IT business analysis experience.
- Defines customer needs in technical and business contexts. Ensure the proposed technical and business solutions meet the customer's objectives for the work effort. Provide guidance with planning and prioritization of business analysis activities in support of large project and support efforts.
- Elicit and document user requirements to meet a business objective. Identify and validate requirements and organize the information into a logical document using business analysis models that is understood by the customer and Information Systems.
- Respond to questions and ensure understanding of why the business solution was chosen. Guide both technical and customer departments in the development of the systems.
- Ensure the accurate deployment of solutions through review of problem logs, assisting with test plans and test matrices, and other analysis activities.
- Validate the business need for solutions to business problems and process improvements.
- Facilitate the transfer of knowledge about the "big picture" direction of the business units to others who support them.
- Provide input on the business direction for system changes.
- Mentor less experienced business systems analysts.
- Demonstrated expertise in the concepts of the supported business unit.
- Demonstrated knowledge of standard industry practices and procedures for the business unit.
- Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to express complex technical and business concepts to all management levels, peers, and the business units.
- Able to influence and negotiate solutions to business problems.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Understands how IT affects an organization and is able to link it to business processes.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
- Able to read and comment on test plans and test matrices, project plans, and scope and design documents.
- Has a conceptual understanding of project management techniques.
- Visio, MS Project or similar software, data mining using DB2, SQL, and/or other tools.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job-related degree;
- OR, Associates degree in CS, Bus. Admin., or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
- OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 10 years without a degree)
