Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer Functional Safety

Job Description:
Lead the design, development, and validation of complex mixed-signal electronic hardware systems for safety-critical applications.
Collaborate with embedded software engineers to ensure safety-critical hardware-software interaction.
Conduct hazard analysis, FMEDA, FTA, and perform reliability testing for robust product design.
Work with certification bodies to ensure compliance with Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508).
Implement redundancy, fail-safe mechanisms, and diagnostic features in hardware products.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related STEM field + 8 years' experience (or Master's + 7 years).
Strong knowledge of Functional Safety standards (IEC 61508).
Experience in safety-critical electronic system design with fault detection and mitigation techniques.
Proficiency with PCB design tools and hardware simulation software.
Experience with EMC, thermal, and environmental testing for safety-critical systems
