Mechanical Engineer
Key Role:

Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture, or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply advanced consult ing skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with 3-D Solidworks sof tware and use of 2-D CAD files for fabrication of system components
• Knowledge of materials used in fabrication of mechanical components and available hardware
• Ability to build and test prototype systems and components and assist field service team with new and upgrade system installations
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Cybersecurity Certification such as Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with field service and reading assembly drawings
• Knowledge of thermal electric cooling and HVAC commer cia l systems and optical components
• Ability to perform field servicing atop field sites

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
