Oracle Database Provisioner
Summary
Responsible for provisioning Oracle Database access associated with creating, modifying, and deleting accounts and security of Oracle databases in the organization.
Responsibilities
- Connect, create, delete, and test accounts on Oracle databases for functional areas.
- Manage Oracle Database access, user accounts, passwords, and role-based access control in accordance with established procedures to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Develop and implement database solutions to meet business requirements and enhance efficiency, in accordance with transition and system implementation plans.
- Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Assist users with the transition and implementation of new applications.
- Provide high-level technical support; create, modify, and delete database accounts as part of change management and system maintenance.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support and resolve incident tickets for after-hours and weekend activities.
- Resolve incidents with Oracle Database including account unlocks and password resets.
- Develop scripts and code to enhance existing department provisioning activities.
- Perform health checks and deliver reports.
- Assist with problem analysis of complex Oracle Database configurations.
- Resolve technical questions and problems in accordance with established standards and procedures.
- Make recommendations on functional and business requirements.
- Participate in project activities and provide technical assistance for assigned projects.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience providing general database support and a solid understanding of Oracle PL/SQL.
- Experience developing scripts with SQL, PowerShell, and Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Power Automate).
- Senior-level work experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Administration, SQL Developer, Power BI, Microsoft Office 365, and Toad.
- Working knowledge and work experience performing database account support.
- Advanced knowledge and work experience with database security provisioning, SQL and PL/SQL, Information Security Principles & Guidelines.
- Advanced knowledge and work experience with Oracle PL/SQL, database administration, and troubleshooting.
This is a 12-month Contract opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client. 100% Paid employee Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) (with immediately-vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period.
