Job Details



A well known media and entertainment organization is looking for a Broadcast Infrastructure Technician to join their team.



***onsite shift work in a 24/7 facility in Manhattan New York***


Responsibilities:



  • Provide first-line technical support for broadcast and IT systems, studio personnel, and remote users.

  • Ensure 100% on-air uptime by troubleshooting and maintaining broadcast facilities and studios.

  • Review system operation logs and perform software/firmware updates.

  • Troubleshoot endpoint, server, and networking issues; escalate as needed.

  • Manage incidents and document through ServiceNow.

  • Support and implement infrastructure projects.

  • Install, configure, and support broadcast and production software/hardware.

  • Work a shift-based schedule in a 24/7/365 facility.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in a broadcast or media facility.

  • College degree in a technical discipline, military, or equivalent industry experience.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across broadcast, IT, and network systems.

  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux OS, MS Office Suite, Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Familiarity with data center environments and server support.

  • Understanding of network troubleshooting tools (Splunk, Solarwinds, Wireshark).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders.

  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.


Bonus Skills (Preferred)



  • CLI management and scripting experience.

  • Hands-on work with broadcast consoles and IP-based A/V systems.

  • Familiarity with satellite downlink operations.

  • Ability to read/create schematics and diagrams (AutoCAD, Visio).

  • Knowledge of Telos, LAWO, Evertz, and other media encoding devices.
