Job Details

Allied Consultants has been contracted with the Texas State Government for 33 years, we are a Top Ten ranked vendor, and premier provider of technical and business staffing solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Work hours and Location

8AM-5PM

Job Location: 6230 E Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78744**

Onsite: 4-5 days. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be working on phone data analysis for client locations across the state. Datasets will be extracted out of Cisco Call Manager and analyzed for recent use and flagged for non-use. Then the datasets will be sent to selected points of contact to review their reports and gain approval to remove underutilized or non-use records. Datasets will be shared with Network engineers to enter VoIP tickets into client'sNow. Audits will be conducted after tickets are completed to be certain tickets were actioned correctly. Monthly invoices will also need to be analyzed for accuracy. These are large datasets, so knowledge of the AI tool, Co-Pilot, is helpful or can be taught to analyze up to 16,000 records.

Qualifications

Minimum (Required):

  • College graduate with good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Needs good analytical skills and attention to detail. May work with client's point of contracts to analyze and validate the phone data for their site.

Preferred (Optional):

  • Must be Austin area based and be willing to work in an office with other network professionals.
  • Must be hands-on, willing to learn, good communication skills, and penchant for innovation and automation as it relates to data analysis
