Overview:
As a Junior QA Engineer - Automation, you will work alongside senior team members to design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to ensure software products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
Learning and assisting in the design and implementation of automation frameworks: You will work with senior team members to learn and assist in the design and implementation of automation frameworks to support the testing of software applications.
Assisting in defining test plans and test cases: You will work with senior team members to assist in defining test plans and test cases based on functional requirements and design specifications.
Identifying and reporting defects: You will identify and report defects using bug tracking tools and processes under the guidance of senior team members.
Assisting in analyzing test results: You will work with senior team members to assist in analyzing test results to identify trends and issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams: You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends: You will learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to automation testing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 1+ years of experience in automation testing or related field
Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
1+ years of experience in automation testing or related field.
Familiar with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar, and have basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify defects and provide recommendations for improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies to ensure that testing is integrated throughout the development process.
Eager to learn and have a strong desire to grow their skills and knowledge in the field.
The salary range for this role is $57,500-$72,500 or the hourly equivalent.
