Job Details

Role: IT Coordinator
Location: St. Peters, MO (Onsite)
Duration: 3 to 4 Month Contract 
Job Summary:
Responsible for end-to-end infrastructure assessment, planning, deployment, and post-go-live support for SAP implementation across sites, ensuring readiness of all IT hardware and network components.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Preparation Phase
  • Capture and document AS-IS site details:
    • Floor plans, power and LAN cabling diagrams
    • Wi-Fi survey reports and WAN utilization reports
  • Inventory assessment:
    • Capture AS-IS hardware including RF scanners, Label Printers, Handheld Devices, PCs, etc.
    • Capture AS-IS network inventory (switches, Wi-Fi access points, routers)
  • Prepare and submit TG0 deliverable for SAP IT Lead approval

2. BCA (Business Case Approval) Phase
  • Collaborate with BPOs and Super Users to gather infrastructure requirements
  • Prepare and finalize BOM (Bill of Materials)
  • Share cost estimates with Central Infra Lead for CAPEX planning and DSS budget approval
  • Work with SAP IT Lead for vendor identification and share:
    • Requirements
    • BOM
    • LAN and power cabling details
  • Obtain and compare vendor quotes for Drop 1 & Drop 2 deliveries
  • Prepare TG1 deliverable for SAP IT Lead approval

3. Realization Phase
  • Initiate procurement for first drop of hardware for UAT; prepare SAP office setup
  • Track and manage hardware deliveries
  • Plan and implement network infrastructure setup for SAP office and other identified areas
  • Define support model in coordination with SAP IT Lead
  • Install, configure, and set up hardware as per SOPs
  • Conduct IQ (Installation Qualification) and OQ (Operational Qualification) for all new hardware
  • Define and agree on SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT scope with respective managers
  • Document all testing evidence
  • Collaborate with SI Manager for Knowledge Transfer (KT) and service transition planning
  • Provide resource planning for hypercare support

4. Final Preparation Phase
  • Coordinate with technical teams for Cutover readiness
  • Monitor Cutover status and provide inputs to Cutover Manager
  • Represent infrastructure status in daily Cutover meetings

5. Post Go-Live Phase
  • Monitor hypercare incidents; ensure RCA is conducted for high severity issues
  • Ensure smooth transition to Business-As-Usual (BAU) support team
  • Document key learnings and archive all project documents/deliverables on SharePoint
  • Track and validate invoices in line with SOW; ensure timely milestone approvals for payments

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure deployment and site readiness
  • Experience in SAP project environments (desirable)
  • Knowledge of hardware setup (RF devices, printers, PCs, etc.)
  • Familiarity with network components (switches, routers, access points)
  • Strong coordination and vendor management skills
  • Good documentation and project tracking ability
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, business users, vendors, and project teams
