Job Details

Job Title: Quality Assurance Analyst

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: Long-term

Note: Looking for someone with Retail and Salesforce Commerce cloud background.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Minimum 10 years of QA experience designing and executing test cases, testing software, and validating data for eCommerce websites and backend applications, including order management systems.
  • Minimum 3 years experience executing automation test scripts using industry standard automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Soap UI, Postman, JMeter, Appium, Cucumber etc.
  • Solid understanding of the Test Pyramid and ability to execute automated tests across all levels (Functional, Integration, and User Acceptance / end-to-end).
  • Proficient understanding of both REST and SOAP web services and ability to develop automated testing for web services / interfaces.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining and executing Automated testing scripts.
  • Retail industry experience preferred, especially related to any of the following areas: store operations, warehouse distribution, store allocation, merchandising, marketing, accounting, and finance.
  • Expert understanding of the effects of enhancements test on downstream processes.
  • Proficient, end-to-end understanding and experience with knowledge of system development life cycles.
  • Strong understanding and hands on experience working with fast phased Agile/SCRUM teams, located onsite and offshore.
  • Working ability to remain effective under stress and respond to pressure in a manner acceptable to others and the organization.
  • Proficient ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency and ease while maintaining a strong customer service focus.
  • Consistently demonstrates a commitment to client policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest and ethical responsibilities.
  • Ability to take little direction and achieve quality results independently.
  • Proficient ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English, including the ability to provide clear, constructive direction and feedback to team members.
  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited program in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent year-for-year experience preferred.
  • Operational knowledge of IBM iSeries, JDA, SAP, PKMS, and .Net application development environments a plus.
