Are you passionate about manufacturing and have a knack for precision? Do you have an eye for detail and a love for machinery? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent CNC Machinist/Programmer. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge technology in the manufacturing industry, where you will be instrumental in creating high-quality products that are integral to various industries. As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment that values innovation, creativity, and quality.

Responsibilities:

1. Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
2. Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
3. Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
4. Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
5. Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
6. Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
7. Fix issues that might occur during the production process and perform routine machine maintenance.
8. Keep records of approved and defective units or final products to maintain quality control.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
10. Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and overall job performance.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficient in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
3. Strong knowledge of machine programming and the ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.
4. Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
6. Strong understanding of metal properties and mathematics.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
8. Proven track record of producing high-quality work while maintaining safety standards.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; certification or degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field is a plus.
