Unified Communications Engineer
Architect, design, deploy and maintain enterprise telecommunications and Unified Communications equipment
Strong understanding of Cloud Architecture
Technical knowledge of SIP, TCP/IP, PSTN,
Prioritize job assignments such as work orders, engineering changes, and trouble calls as required to accommodate customer needs while minimizing impact on current operations
Performs installation and testing of new products individually or as part of a team. Leads installations, upgrades, and deployment of telecommunications systems
Prepare detailed evaluations, requirements, and recommendations to technical and architecture designs for new UC technologies/services and their integration into the enterprise
Develops metrics, reports, documentation, and training to support current and planned equipment systems
Insures adherence to and documentation of routine maintenance schedules. Performs daily maintenance checks and insures proper escalation and resolution to challenges found
Provides planning, technical support, and oversee vendors for enterprise installations and maintenance
Responsible for after-hours and weekends on-call duties
Other duties as assigned
Prior experience with large to very large enterprise environments that include multiple site location
Knowledge and experience in the insurance, health, or vision care industry preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with cloud-based phone, messaging (Teams) and video conferencing solutions
Experience with on-premise audio visual systems
Experience working with cell phone and circuit providers
