Duration: 6 months with possible extension and/or conversion based on business needs and performance
Location: Boston, Massachusetts or Gaithersburg, Maryland

60% onsite, up to 40% remote

Our Evidence Generation, Publications & Partnerships team is dedicated to advancing all aspects of evidence generation (running trials and studies, collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to support the safety, efficacy, and value of a product or treatment) and communication.
By improving our workflows through the integration of GenAI, we aim to enhance our efficiency and effectiveness in delivering critical evidence and insights.
Job Description:
The Evidence Generation, Publications and Partnerships team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Evidence Generation AI Solutions Specialist to join our team.
This role involves leveraging the latest advancements in technology, including but not limited to large language models (LLMs) to identify, develop, and implement innovative solutions within our Evidence Generation and Publications team.
The role is a technical expert focused on implementation and driving hands-on development and will partner with the Director, Next Gen Sciences to understand business needs and translate requirements into solutions.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming our workflows and developing complementary training for teams to effectively use GenAI technologies in their day-to-day responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate current technologies and capabilities of GenAI tools and AI-based solutions and match their capabilities to potential use cases within the Evidence Generation Publications and Partnerships team.
Analyze existing workflows to pinpoint areas that can be enhanced with Generative AI solutions, focusing on efficiency and communication improvements.
Develop and implement AI-driven solutions to improve processes across various aspects of evidence generation and communication.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand team requirements and ensure seamless integration of GenAI tools into daily operations.
Design and deliver training sessions to empower teams with the knowledge and skills to utilize AI technologies effectively.
Implement tools or approaches to Monitor the performance and impact of implemented AI solutions and make necessary adjustments to maximize benefits.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Informatics, Data Sciences or a related field.
Strong understanding of in Generative AI, particularly with large language models
Proven experience in developing and implementing AI solutions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and guide teams.
Nice to Have:
Proficiency in Python and R
Software development experience (in cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure)
Experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Familiarity with Agile, CPMAI, or data-driven project management methodologies.
