Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing operations by identifying problems, developing solutions, and managing equipment-related projects from concept through validation. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure tools and processes meet defined performance and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities
Scope manufacturing problems and identify improvement opportunities.
Brainstorm and develop effective solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.
Specify equipment requirements and prepare detailed technical documentation.
Coordinate equipment relocation activities and ensure proper installation.
Obtain vendor quotes and support the purchasing process.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and startup of manufacturing equipment.
Validate tools and manufacturing processes to ensure results meet defined targets.
Manage multiple projects while meeting timelines and production goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive or trucking manufacturing environments.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
