Pay Range: $15/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an exceptional customer experience via phone
  • Troubleshoots and resolves discrepancies in customer s loyalty accounts
  • Accurate and detailed data entry
  • Reviewing and making necessary changes and/or updates to Speedy Rewards accounts
  • Act as an educational resource for the customers
  • Must be able to validate loyalty account holder via information in the loyalty account database
  • Receives and responds to emails, reports, and other customer service departmental records as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions
  • Searches, interprets, selects, and codes documents and records as needed
  • Operates various office equipment, software and/or tools required by the customer service department to complete assigned tasks
  • Communication with peers and leadership through online services
  • Answers and responds to incoming phone calls regarding support relative to the customer service department
  • Communicates clearly and accurately with customers
  • Reports global issues to the customer service leadership
  • Maintains operating knowledge of systems utilized by the customer service department
  • Trains and develops new and existing personnel
  • Ability to influence how customers react to the Speedway brand
  • Ability to speak in a non-scripted service and communicate effectively
  • Ability to make decisions, correct issues, and solve problems
  • Urgency to assist the customer and resolve high-conflict situations

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and other MS Office Suite applications.
  • Effective listening, telephone, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Accurate computer keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Ability to learn new products and technology quickly.
  • Positive, professional attitude and adaptive to change.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time in a relatively stationary position.
  • Ability to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
