Job Description
You will be the System Integration & Test Engineer for the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) team at Lockheed Martin's Chelmsford, MA facility. Our team designs, builds, and validates cutting edge test stands and systems that ensure our customers receive reliable, high performance products on schedule.
What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will partner with engineers, program managers, and production staff to create and refine digital, RF, and microwave test solutions. You will own the end to end development of new test stands, troubleshoot existing equipment, and drive continuous improvement of test processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing, building, and validating custom ATE hardware and software for digital, RF, and microwave applications.
Developing test plans, procedures, and algorithms that meet system level requirements.
Writing, editing, and maintaining LabVIEW code (and related scripts) to automate test sequences.
Using Microsoft Office tools to produce status reports, project schedules, and work instructions.
Troubleshooting and repairing test equipment, resolving hardware software integration issues swiftly.
Analyzing test data, identifying root causes, and recommending design or procedural improvements.
Collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure test solutions align with customer needs and production constraints.
Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting design reviews and technical briefings.

The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. An Interim Secret Clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline - Electrical, Computer, Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent professional level career experience.
Experience using Microsoft Office products to generate status reports, project plans, work instructions, etc.
Experience writing, editing and supporting existing software code base (LabVIEW).
Experience with RF test equipment.
Candidate must be able to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain at least an interim secret clearance prior to start.
Desired skills
A minimum of 2 years of professional level career experience is preferred.
Proficiency with electrical parameter measurements typically required for components and subassemblies.
Proficiency with Radio Frequency or Microwave systems and subsystems.
Proficiency in developing complex test programs with NI LabVIEW and/or Test Stand development environments.
Proficiency researching and specifying components for test equipment design.
Proficiency troubleshooting measurement issues and isolating problems down to the test instrument, fixturing, software level or unit under test.
Proficiency generating assembly and block diagram sketches, parts lists and other types of engineering documentation.
Proficiency in Corrective/Preventative action process and implementation.
Proficiency deriving test requirements from design or system level requirements.
Proficiency reading, understanding and writing change orders to; assembly drawings and parts lists for test equipment and systems.
Experience preparing charts and giving presentations outlining technical issues, solutions or trade studies.
