Release Train Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) with a strong background in Salesforce to lead Agile Release Trains (ARTs), manage cross-team delivery, and ensure seamless release management. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader and coach who can also step in as a Scrum Master when needed, ensuring Agile best practices are followed across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Release Train Leadership:
• Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Drive continuous improvement across teams and ARTs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on vision, roadmap, and delivery.
• Salesforce Delivery Oversight:
• Coordinate and manage delivery of Salesforce-related features and enhancements across multiple Agile teams.
• Ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities.
• Scrum Master Support:
• Step in as Scrum Master for teams as needed, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Mentor and support Scrum Masters across the ART.
• Release Management:
• Own and manage the end-to-end release process, including planning, coordination, and execution of releases across environments.
• Ensure quality and compliance standards are met for all releases.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
• Metrics & Reporting:
• Track and report on ART performance metrics, including velocity, predictability, and quality.
• Provide transparency to stakeholders through dashboards and regular updates.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles, including RTE, Scrum Master, or Program Manager.
• 3+ years of experience managing Salesforce projects or working within Salesforce environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex delivery schedules.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• SAFe RTE or Scrum Master certification preferred.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Platform App Builder) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Copado experience ideal

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
