A large enterprise client of ours is hiring a Senior DevOps engineer who can join them in a fully remote contract throughout the remainder of this year. This position helps with the completion of migration work from AWS to Google Cloud Platform mainly for M&A projects. This company is a leading provider of credit reports in the nation.
This role will be hands-on, supporting an effort for refactoring and re-platforming AWS environments to Google Cloud Platform. There is a ton of work to do to ensure a stable maintainable process, so automation is a prime goal. You will be utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub Actions, and Datadog mainly in this position.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience as a DevOps/SRE engineer
- Exceptional knowledge of building tooling in Google Cloud Platform environments
- Ability to work hands-on to scale GKE clusters
- Strong knowledge of Terraform
- Prior experience leading teams for enterprise level projects
- Automation expertise with CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD / GitHub Actions
- Alerting and Monitoring experience with Datadog / PagerDuty
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- At home set up for working remotely
- Google Cloud certifications
- BS in CS or similar degree
- Experience in SaaS environments
