Lead CRM Developer - MS DYNAMICS 365 Customer Engagement & AI Integration

Location - Moline, IL

Duration: 6- 12 months

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead CRM Developer with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365Customer Engagement and AI integration, particularly with Microsoft Copilot and the Power Platform. This role will lead the design and development of intelligent CRM solutions that leverage AI to enhance user experience, automate processes, and drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

CRM Development & Leadership:

  • Lead the design, development, and customization of Dynamics 365 CE (Sales, Service, Marketing).
  • Architect scalable CRM solutions, including custom entities, workflows, plugins, and integrations.
  • Oversee development best practices, code reviews, and mentoring of junior developers.
  • Manage ALM processes and ensure high-quality deployments across environments.

AI & Copilot Integration:

  • Drive the implementation of Microsoft Copilot for Sales and Service within Dynamics 365.
  • Design and develop custom Copilot experiences using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Build AI-powered chatbots, virtual agents, and conversational flows.
  • Integrate AI solutions with external systems using custom connectors and APIs.
  • Apply prompt engineering and optimize AI models for business use cases.

Power Platform & Azure Integration:

  • Develop solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Implement Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus) to extend CRM capabilities.
  • Design and manage secure, scalable integrations using REST APIs and OData.
  • Support data migration, ETL processes, and performance tuning.

Collaboration & Support:

  • Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Provide strategic input on CRM and AI roadmap planning.
  • Support end-users with training, documentation, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Required Skillset:

Technical Expertise:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL Server.
  • Strong experience with Power Platform and Azure cloud services.
  • Deep understanding of REST APIs, OData, and integration patterns.

AI & Copilot Skills:

  • Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot and conversational AI solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and Cognitive Services.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, NLP, and AI model tuning.
  • Experience integrating AI with Microsoft Graph API and Office 365.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

  • Proven experience leading CRM development teams and projects.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications: MB-400, PL-400, MB-200/MB-230.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project tracking.
  • Knowledge of Power Pages and advanced Dataverse features.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams app development and integration
