Job Summary
- We are seeking an Expert SAP ECC Warehouse Management (WM) Developer to lead
- the design, development, and implementation of advanced warehouse management
- solutions within our SAP ECC environment. The ideal candidate will have deep
- expertise in SAP WM modules, a proven track record of handling complex
- customizations, and the ability to integrate WM with other SAP modules and external

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development and customization of SAP ECC WM modules,
- including inbound/outbound processes, inventory management, picking/packing
- strategies, and warehouse task management.
- Design and implement enhancements using ABAP programming, BAPI, IDOCs,
- RFCs, and user exits to optimize warehouse workflows and integrate with
- modules like MM, SD, QM, and EWM.
- Conduct technical analysis, feasibility studies, and performance tuning for WM configurations to support high-volume transactions and real-time inventory tracking.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex WM-related issues, including integration challenges with third-party systems (e.g., WMS interfaces, RFID, or automation tools).
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in SAP development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations (e.g., to S/4HANA), and testing phases, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design blueprints, test
- scripts, and user guides.
- Stay updated on SAP innovations, particularly in WM/EWM, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master degree preferred.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ECC development, with at least 5 years focused on Warehouse Management (WM) modules.
- Proven expertise in ABAP/4 programming, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
- Strong knowledge of WM configuration, including storage types, bin management, handling unit management (HUM), and wave management.
- Experience with SAP integration technologies such as ALE/IDOCs, PI/PO, CPI, or web services.
- Familiarity with warehouse automation tools, IoT integrations, or mobile applications for WM (e.g., RF devices).
- Prior involvement in full lifecycle SAP implementations, including blueprinting, realization, go-live, and hypercare support.
- SAP certification in WM or ABAP Development is highly desirable.
