In privacy law and data protection at PwC, you will specialise in providing advice and guidance to clients on privacy laws and data protection regulations. You will help businesses navigate the complex landscape of privacy and data protection requirements, confirming compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Working in this area, you will assist in developing privacy policies, conducting privacy impact assessments, and implementing data protection measures to safeguard personal information.

The Opportunity
As part of the Data Protection team you contribute to defining and assessing Data Protection strategy, architecture, and practices, and technology implementation. As an Associate you focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You are exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful client connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by expanding your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree

What Sets You Apart
- Accredited Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Accredited Information Security Manager (CISM), Accredited in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- Thorough knowledge of Data Protection strategy and technology implementation
- Experience with Database Activity Monitoring and Data Access Governance
- Proficiency in Data Classification and Data Loss Prevention
- Knowledge of Information Rights Management tools
- Developing and implementing Data Protection solutions
- Familiarity with NIST, HIPAA, COBIT, GDPR, CCPA
- Building reliable relationships with clients
- Proficient documentation and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is: $63,000 - $140,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
