Job Details

Role: DevOps Engineer - Level II
Location: Albany, New York(Remote but the selected Consultant is required to be onsite at their assigned work location at the frequency required by the client)
Duration: 2 years 1 day(s)

Total Work Experience: 12-15 Years
Relavent Experience: 10+ Years
State or Fedral exp highly preferred
Local candidates highly preferred.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 4 + Years Experience:
    • Azure Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) such as Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Pipelines, Storage Accounts, VMs, Key Vault, Azure Kubernetes Service, Redis Cache, and SignalR
    • Containerized workloads in a cloud hosting environment (Docker)
    • Azure Kubernetes Services 1.2.5 or higher
    • Good knowledge of C#, Python and scripting in PowerShell and Bash

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
  • Design and implement technology infrastructure, develop and enhance both client and internal facing applications and provide technology tools that help drive NYS strategic initiatives.
  • Use enterprise architecture across application areas to build delivery models that map capabilities to business needs outlined by NYS.
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • As part of application support lifecycle address defects and Enhancements.
  • Implement security and infrastructure maintenance best practices.
  • Participate in troubleshooting any issue as necessary in the hybrid cloud environment
  • Troubleshoot complex incidents across multiple technologies in all environments; troubleshoot Identity and Access Management policies, create/provide cloud resources based on development teams requirements, troubleshoot via cloud logs, perform system monitoring, creation of alerts and assisting with new feature rollout
