Oracle Fusion SCM Consultant

Role: Analytics Accelerator Consultant Fusion SCM + Microsoft Fabric + Power BI

Engagement: ~20 24 hrs/week, 9 weeks

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced contractor to implement our Analytics Accelerator leveraging Oracle Fusion SCM as the data source, Microsoft Fabric as the data warehouse platform, and Power BI as the reporting tool. The role will involve setting up data pipelines, designing data models, and delivering actionable analytics for Supply Chain Management stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect and extract data from Oracle Fusion SCM (and related Fusion ERP modules as needed).
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines into Microsoft Fabric(Lakehouse/Warehouse).
• Build a star schema data model for supply chain analytics.
• Create curated datasets and semantic models for Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work closely with business users to validate requirements and ensure alignment with supply chain KPIs.
• Follow best practices for data warehousing and adhere to the systems development lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, deploy).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong understanding of Fusion SCM data structures (Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse/Warehouse) and Power BI development.
• Proficiency in ETL/ELT design and data modeling for analytics (fact/dimension, star schema).
• Familiarity with supply chain management processes and key metrics.
• Experience working in an SDLC or Agile environment for analytics projects.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP beyond SCM (e.g., Finance, Manufacturing).
• Experience with performance tuning for Fabric or Power BI datasets.
