Job Title: Sr. Technical Product Manager Next-Gen POS & Credit Card Payments

Job Overview
We are looking for a Sr. Technical Product Manager to drive strategy, roadmap, and delivery for Next-Generation POS and payment platforms. This role focuses on POS modernization, digital payments, fraud prevention, and payment orchestration for high-volume retail/QSR environments. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, store operations, security, and finance to deliver fast, secure, and scalable payment experiences.
Key Responsibilities
< data-start="841" data-end="876">POS Systems (QSR / Retail)</>Lead the roadmap for next-gen POS systems focused on speed, reliability, and cashier/barista usability.
Deliver scalable POS payment capabilities that improve order throughput and service time.
Modernize POS architecture for omnichannel ordering and seamless in-store experiences.
Drive POS credit card acceptance strategy: NFC tap-to-pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, EMV chip.
Manage integrations with POS hardware/payments devices: Verifone, Toast, Ingenico, Clover, Square.
Own roadmap for digital in-store payment experiences, including app-based QR Scan & Pay.
Ensure PCI-compliant, tokenized solutions for mobile and in-store transactions.
Manage high-volume payment orchestration APIs supporting millions of card-present and CNP transactions.
Lead initiatives in network tokenization, least-cost routing, and mobile wallet integrations.
Integrate with major payment processors: CyberSource, WorldPay, Chase, PayPal, Venmo, including vault migrations.
Lead development of real-time fraud detection across payment and loyalty flows.
Automate fraud remediation and account takeover (ATO) workflows.
Launch payment reconciliation, refund, and settlement systems to reduce operational overhead.
Partner with analytics/finance teams to identify and resolve payment discrepancies.
Required Qualifications
5+ years as a Technical Product Manager in POS, Payments, Fintech, QSR, or Retail environments.
Strong technical understanding of payment systems, PCI compliance, mobile wallets, and fraud prevention.
Experience scaling high-availability, high-volume platforms.
Hands-on experience integrating with payment processors, gateways, and device vendors.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Supply Chain coursework is a plus).
