Description

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to oversee and enhance the organization's technological infrastructure in Hartford County, Connecticut. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage IT operations effectively, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the organization's Active Directory environment to ensure secure and efficient user access.

Oversee backup technologies to guarantee data protection and recovery capabilities.

Administer and configure Cisco Meraki technologies to support network stability and security.

Supervise the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware across all departments.

Implement and manage configuration management processes to streamline system updates and deployments.

Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to align with industry standards.

Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.

Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Monitor system performance and address potential issues proactively to minimize downtime.

Research and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management or a related role.

Proven expertise in Active Directory administration and management.

Strong knowledge of backup technologies and disaster recovery planning.

Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki technologies, including configuration and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in computer hardware installation, maintenance, and repair.

Familiarity with configuration management tools and practices.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
