Job Title: Taleo Developer
Location: Seattle, WA/Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Taleo Developer to design, configure, and support Oracle Taleo Recruiting and Onboarding solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Taleo configuration, integration, and reporting to optimize recruiting and talent acquisition processes.

The role involves collaborating with HR business partners, functional analysts, and technical teams to ensure the Taleo platform meets business needs and integrates seamlessly with other enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Oracle Taleo Recruiting, Onboarding (Transitions), and Learn modules based on business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Taleo career sections, workflows, requisition and offer templates, and approval processes.
  • Design and implement integration solutions between Taleo and other systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, payroll, background check vendors, and identity management).
  • Create and manage Taleo reports and dashboards using Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI/OTBI).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, perform root cause analysis, and apply fixes or patches as needed.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings within the Taleo environment.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and testing cycles, ensuring minimal disruption to HR operations.
  • Document system configurations, functional specifications, and change management activities.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and vendor teams to implement process improvements and optimize system performance.
  • Provide end-user training and support as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Taleo (Recruiting, Onboarding, or Learn modules).
  • Strong understanding of Taleo configuration, workflows, and career section management.
  • Experience with Taleo Connect Client (TCC) for integrations and data imports/exports.
  • Proficiency in SQL, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with Oracle HCM Cloud, OBI/OTBI, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Taleo certifications (e.g., Oracle Recruiting Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist).
  • Experience with HCM or ERP integrations.
  • Background in HR systems administration or Talent Acquisition process optimization.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
