Senior Functional Consultant JDA WMS Migration (v21 v24)

Dallas TX

Long term Contract

Role Objective

To lead the functional stream of the JDA WMS upgrade from version 21 to 24 ensuring seamless transition of business processes, validation of system functionality, and successful end-to-end user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing v21 setup and identify functional gaps or customizations impacting migration.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure configuration alignment and data integrity during migration.
  • Validate all core warehouse operations inbound, outbound, inventory control, and replenishment.
  • Coordinate UAT, regression testing, and defect triage.
  • Support integration validation with ERP, TMS, EDI, and RF systems.
  • Document updated process flows, functional test cases, and SOPs.
  • Provide user training and go-live functional support.
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical implementation team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of JDA/Blue Yonder WMS functional experience (v9+).
  • Proven expertise in warehouse operations and system configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with migration or upgrade projects (preferably v21 v24).
  • Strong knowledge of RF, label printing, and EDI/TMS integrations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
